The legendary Anointing oils of Frankincense and Myrrh harkens to an era when the sacred oils were treasured by kings and sovereigns and were more highly esteemed than gold. Two millennia ago, the Magi came to Bethlehem and presented the Christ child with the most precious goods known to the ancient world: Frankincense, myrrh & gold.

Myrrh, a dark rich earthy aromatic, was the principal ingredient in the sacred anointing oil of the Jews. As both an incense and an oil, Myrrh was prized by the ancients. Today Myrrh is highly regarded for its soothing and restorative effects to the skin.

Frankincense was also prized as a holy anointing oil throughout antiquity and today is esteemed for its immune supportive properties.

Hyssop was used for cleansing back in Moses' time. Psalms 51:7 states "Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean".
